AN AMARANTE HEALTH EXPLORATION

Why am I always tired?

Tiredness is common; persistent exhaustion deserves curiosity, not an automatic supplement purchase.

LEARN FIRST. CHOOSE WISELY.

01 / THE BIGGER PICTURE

Before the ingredient, understand the question.

01

Sleep quality, work schedules and stress are common contributors, but they are not the only possibilities.

02

Anaemia, thyroid problems, medications, heart or metabolic conditions and other illnesses can also contribute.

03

A clinician can help decide which history, examination or tests make sense; a broad supplement panel is not a substitute.

02 / WHERE SCIENCE HELPS

What the evidence can—and can't—tell us.

Adequate iron, vitamin B12 and other nutrients are important for normal physiology. Supplements can be useful when an actual deficiency or specific need exists, but more nutrients do not automatically mean more energy.

Different populations, doses and outcomes can produce different conclusions. A promising biological mechanism is not proof that a product improves health.

03 / QUESTIONS THAT MATTER

Three questions worth asking next.

  1. What changed around the time my tiredness began?
  2. Could sleep, medicines or a medical condition be involved?
  3. Is there a reason to test for a deficiency before supplementing?
